This page is all the olden blogs what I done, they int right good but thought you might like to peruse them at your leisure so that you can feel good about your life and feel like you've got direction. Kind of like how we all like to have a REALLY alcoholic friend who makes us feel healthy as we tuck into only our 6th pint of the afternoon. saturday 3rd may 2008- on stereo the new album by that feller out of the
Arctic Monkeys' other band - last
of the shadow puupets - very nice..
It's been a bit mad again the last
couple of weeks, but got loads
of stuff sorted out to look
forward to. Starting Monday 26th
of may I'm gonna be playing every Monday at
Moko lounge. This has
come about for two reasons, first that when I've done
the one off Monday's there
they've b
een
well good, and second, I want to earn millions of pounds so I
can retire really soon
and give everyone a rest. Here abouts are som
e
photos that I promised last
time I updated, from the St. P
atricks
day party, sorry if you've been waiting for them, the one message I got
asking literally flooded in days ago... Actually, all y
ou
can see really in them is me
being really pissed, which is very i
irresponsible
given that so many people look up to me as a role model and that. The launch
for Monday
's
on May 26th is a Pirates
of the Carribean themed party with loads of drinks
offers and games, plus
prizes for the best fancy
dress - tho
I'll tell you now that will
be me. Fact.
Tueslife
is going well on Tuesdays
so get down the drinks are half price, what more info could you possibly
care about? Let's face it, If I were playing underground Bolivian Polka
music, with half price drinks your
still gonna feel it. On the left here is a well large jpeg of the giant
poster image that a stunning three fit birds have asked for! Indeed I'm led
to beleive that it is this summers must have item for lone female students
to have on the wall. Sorry guys, it's not available in wipe clean. Also
check the photo of me with that fit be-knockered Emma and her mates on here
birthday. Rad!
Also at
Revolution Fridays in Vodka jungle are swell, buy a round, toss a coin and
you can win the same round again for free. Good idea, but a bastard to
explain to pissed people. A new offer is coming on Fridays, plus at the
Moment Russ & Tex are in the front bar, who are just fucking quality. No
doubt they'll make up for my shoddy ineffectiveness in the main room.
Saturdays
in Hooters, Driffield, continue to keep me sane, with people seeming
to actaully like me as a person to some degree. This has only happened since
I stopped shagging all the birds there, and that was over 6
years
ago. Aas you can tell by the pictures here of the women I have to deal with,
it's still a fun town. Indeed Mental derangements have never been so much
fun!
I'm
not playing Thursdays at Viper anymore, but here is a pic of me and some of
my DJ chums, and a couple of my incredibly hot model friends. Now,
rumour has it th
at
Neil Jaques wants me to do some Thursdays with him at Moko, which I'd be
well up for, but he seems to be too busy getting his hair cut like mine to
organise it anytime soon.
Finally for this time, a quick reminder that Bottom of the Bottle, the punk metal monster that it is, returns on Sunday 1st of June, to kick off a hard rocking summer of self abuse. Talamask from Hull headline, supported by Chakra & The Deadline Hopefulls. All threee bands are pure kickass so get there at 9pm whent doors open, and stay and enjoy the foolish drinks offers 'til 3am. It's heavy, heavenly and hersuit.
Cheers for reading, Trev xxx
Below is one of my old old blogs from yester year. I've left it up on this page as it as it commemorates the fixing of this website the last time it were broke. The next time will probably be this afternoon.
Sunday 4th February - on stereo "History of Hardcore - The Nightmares &
Rotterdam Records Vol .II" a couple of gabber albums I recently bought, very
fast, very dangerous.
wow, Dj Trev has
FINALLY got around to updating his website -but what a gip - all he's
doing is telling you to go see his myspace site. THE TOTAL FUCKING CUNT!
Never the less, should you wish to do that, his myspace site is www.myspace.com/djtrev . On myspace, everyone looks like this...
Here for the
next month (or 3) is the old index, for you to peruse when you are in
nostalgia lane, and since you are perhaps one of only about ten people to
visit this antiquity of a website here's a bit of a blog and some photo's
that you won't find anywhere else on the internet. Big Fucking
Wow.
For example here is a picture of the love of my life...
Pre-historic sites. Oh, and Sarah's there too. Ha ha ha aren't people who write n the internet like, soooooo funny.
Firstly, the
boring technology nethead bit - the reason this site hadn't
been
updated for so long is apparently because my net "server" (kind of a little
computer man that lives in my phone lines) had moved. Presumably moved house
or something. And of course as is the way, he'd not sent on his forwarding
address. So I'd had all my important internet business building up like a
pile of letters, but nowhere to "post" them to. Loads of photo's, blogs,
charts and other fucking shit that no one really gives a shit about but
still complains when I don't update it for some reason. So I got in touch
with internet mi££ionaire Chris.Hughes, and immediately 4 months later he
fixed my problem. For the next week or two.
Personally my life has been going very well, though I think that I'm starting to look a bit like Jay.
Shanaz closed down a while ago
now, but it is still sorely missed, our friend Ayub is currently in Kashmir,
and says to say hello!
Christmas and New Year was
brilliant, a really great party at Revolution on Christmas eve, by popular
request here is one for the middle digit
ladies
of me in my Johnny Depp outfit stood next to hunk bag Ollie, who seems to
have a tiny head. or perhaps I've got a big head, which I find unlikely in
the extremes, still go on girls treat yourself, god's not watching - though
the ghosts of your dead pets are. Pervert.
My
Neo Rave night Neon Fist is going great, and there will be some new dates
for that soon, it's going to be at XS, which is going to be where Cardinal
sins was... which reminds me, Cardinal Sins is closing down. infact, by the
time you read this, the odds are it'll have already gone! Tonight being
Sunday 4th Feb (that's in my time, your time you're probably reading this on
some shitty Wednesday in June, you really must get a hobby) is the closing
down party, with Saving Sunday, my metal & punk night, which is also
banging, indeed, when I'm finished here I'm off to update the vast sums f
pictures and that
on Bottomofthebottle.com,
and indeed and there will be some nice photo's posted of the closing night
on that website too. In May.
I will post this, but I've no idea what it's about, some Dj called Bobby Dazzler is playing my brothers pub in Easingwold, he looks like a joker to me... seventies night's are so eighties....
Finally
then, success, I've managed to update my site! Of course all this would not
be possible without the help of the
aforementioned interweb wunderkind Chris.Hughes, so why not check out
the legend that is by visiting with him on his "blog" page. It really is
very interesting and complete, and not at all a half arsed blog filled in
from time to time with incomplete sentences and missing links and lack of
pictures and content and real issues that affect real people.
www.zonev.com
is where
it all happens. Or you can visit his trying to be myspace, but no one's on
it thing at www.facemeet.com. That's
really good too. One of the wonderful things about the internet is that
there is a whole universve of options out there, so you could visit either
of those two websites, after all it'll only take you about 5 minutes to
register, then a minute or two to get you password from your email account,
then you'll be able to
look
at all the stuff that other people find interesting. Of course, you could
just look at the picture here on the left here, take my word that she is 18,
and visit her website. Or better yet, type in the words Lil Britney into
google image finder and see what turns up. Let me know how that works out,
as I'm so busy leaving important feedback at www.zonev.com that I've never
had chance to do that.
So then, for the time being since myspace is the place to be, I'll be blogging and that on there, though this site should, in theory at least, have relativley regular updates too, but c'mon kid, join the winning team at myspace, it'll only be cool for another 2 months. Cheers for reading, and cheers Chris, you're a ledge. Trev xxx
Monday 7th April - nowt on stero, it's like 5 am as per...
I've just got in from playing Moko's birthday party - ok, part one of a week of Moko's birthday celebrations, but check it, on the flyer, who's name is at the top of the bill? me, that's fucking right, so believe, superstar dj Trev towering above the rest of them innit. So yeah, just done the birthday party for Moko and it were well good, musical statues being the hightlight, as you'd imagine. I'm not actually gonna do a full update, just a quick one seeing as www.djtrev.co.uk is back online, and heres a few pictures for you. First of all, this man :
what's name is Chris.hughes, and I am to assume that it is his silent but
deadly internet mi££ionaire skilling that fixed this site. As it was broke,
I text him, and now it int. So even though technically I could take credit
for texting him and telling him it woh broke, I'll not, as I'm not that kind
of geezer. Next here's me smugging it up with some birds at Revolution
recently:
as
you can see, the living hell that is being a professional disc jockey
continues for me, despite my obvious deficiencies in the whole area. Finally
is this pic :
It's me at the end of playing St.Patricks day at Moko lounge. Although I
appear drunkenly incoherent, as I'm sure most of you will know, I remained
professional throughout delivering a truly fine performance. And that's all
I'm gonna do for now, I'll update this again within the week, and put on a
bunch on pix from Paddies day, plus a photo of me hanging with some models
what I met, and some more general other rubbish. I suppose next time I'll
tell you what's going on with me work wise, that might be an idea too, in
the mean time here's the last blog what I done on here afore this site
vanished for a month into mystery internet land where all the ladies is
naked. Which is actually where I'm off now for a bit armed only with some
tissue and handcream. Er, Revolution on Tuesday, Viper on Thursday, Rev on
Friday, Hooters Saturday, blah blah blah...
Cheers for reading as ever, and again mad props to Chris for fixing this site, he's ma bessie chum what I never calls unless summat is broke, I'm rubbish, soz. Trev xxx
Saturday
8th March - As usual, nowt ont stereo it's 5 am and no one wants to hear it.
A
bit late on the old update I'm afraid, had loads on and have also coupled
that with being a bit lazy. Soz. The new Bottom of the Bottle at Viper Rooms
was mental, really good, and I'm looking forward to the next one which is on
MONDAY the 24th of March. It's on the Monday for once as it's a bank holiday
weekend for Easter, and that's how it's worked out. As it goes I've got load
on over easter, so lets start from the beginning s
hall
we?
Monday
17th March is St.Patricks
day so in honour of the day everyone joins us wise people and drinks
Guinness I'll be playing at one of the only paces in Harrogate that doesn't
sell it. Actually that's not true cos for the night Moko Lounge have got on
loads of special Guinness offers, so that should be cool.
On the Tuesday the 18th I'm playing at Revolution for the Re-launch of Tuesdays now under the
name Tueslife.
The old school Jimmy's crew will remember Tueslife from yonks ago, I decided
that the name was too cool to lay dormant forever, so I'm bringing back what
was an absolute classic
night of up front slightly alternative tunes. Essentially its a student
night, and more importantly all drinks are half price! Due to some oversight
on my part I'm actually having a night off on the Wednesday, however I crack
back on on Thursday playing at Glamour. Now Glamour is pretty much
Harrogate's biggest night right now, running once a month on Thursdays. That
said, it is an R'n'B night, so you might not expect me to be on t
he
bill. However, for the Easter one which is on Maundy Thursday 20th March
(Friday's a bank holiday remember so its like a Saturday night...) Viper
Rooms are extending Glamour across the entire venue and I'll be running a
completely
new
room for the night, playing in the Viper Lounge downstairs dropping a mix of
Garage, Hip Hop, Old School, Bass line & Grimey Electro. If none of that
means much to you, if you like T2, Jay-Z, that current Dizzy Rascal tune,
Dr. Dre, that's the type of thing I'll be playing. I'm really looking
forward to that, as it's an opportunity for me to play some tunes I don't
often get to.
It'll be a bit similar to what I played at Neon Fist but without the Happy
Hardcore (I'm still trying to find a place that'll let me play that again!).
For Good Friday I'll be at my usual residency of
Vodka
Jungle at Revolution, a night which is going really well, there's a few
picks of me in my various dodgy outfits for the night on the right
and
if you don't know, on Fridays every time you pay for a round you toss a coin
and if you win you get it again for free. You think I'm fucking lying don't
ya, but its true that is! Of course Saturday for me means Driffield, check
out some of the ladies who think I'm a lovely boy now I've got a gi
rlfriend,
on the left. Easter Sunday has me playing Revolution again in the Main Room,
their bank holiday nights are bedlam so I'm up for some of that, then of
course on t
he
Monday 24th March it's Bottom of the Bottle, which as I mentioned already
kicked off very well at Viper Rooms, and t
his
time has The NX from Newcastle headlining, plus support from the superb
Grungey F.U.B.A.R and metalcore boys Where Heroes Once Stood. The new flash
range of T-shirts and shirts should be
ready by then, they are designed by Greg who is a professional surfboard
illustrator and they are frankly brilliant, a sneak peak at the artwork is
on the right. That's the main Easter week for me then, it's always good to
get the students back, so not only should those nights be cool, but also all
my regular residencies, so there's plenty for me to look forward to. It'd be
just swell
if you came to some of my nights, I'll even be drinking myself at a few of
them...
Cheers for reading as ever, Trev xxx
Friday
8th February - on stereo as usual nothing, becuase once again
I'm up til all hours
catchin
g
up on stuff i've been doing "tomorrow" for 3 weeks.
Well the new
year is officially well underway and I've had some right good nights thus
far. Most excitingly for me is the re-launch of Bottom of the Bottle this
Sunday at Viper Rooms, I've been well busy making up some T-Shirts and stuff
for the night, indeed I am sporting one of those very garments
in
this picture to the right. It feels like it's been ages since the last
Bottom of the Bottle so it'll be good to get back on with some heaviness,
I've got some great new metal I want to play plus have been going through
some of my archives to dig out a few different classics as it were, so I'm
totally looking forward to it. It all kicks off again at 9pm at Viper Rooms
with The Declines, a poppy punk cum indie outfit kicking off the live music
at 9.30pm followed by Jerrard Rebecky taking it heavier then Croak Ditch
headline, and after that it's metal and punk party til we're done around
3am. It's 2 for 1 pint and a load of other ace drinks offers for the first
night there too, so it'll be not
too heavy on the ol' walle
t/purse/man
bag.
I can't remember
if I put my amazing product placement photo for Waking Theo up before, so
here it is again anyway.
I've been playing the odd night
in Leeds recently at Revolution Electric Press, and they've been well good.
I'm there again this Wednesday and
am busting my sorry ass hoping to get a regular monthly slot there. I've
been cover
ing
their Vodka Jungle night which is like the one we do on Fridays in
Harrogate, and I hereby throw down the gauntlet for anyon
e
to take a gayer photo of me than this one on the left
.
Compare it to the one below it from Harrogate and you'll notice that clearly
I follow the rule when
in Leeds, bend.
The photos from when I also
played this student pub crawl
should straighten me out though, it was called "Carnage" which is totally
what it was, like, 2000 student girls in school girl outfits. It was a right
good
night
but
it became a bit of a sensory overload by the end - "oh right, a fit bird in
a
short skirt and knee high socks is it? What would be hot would be a chick in
slippers and a smoking jacket. With a Tash" Two of my hardcore Driffield
massive were there for that night also which was cool, in fact I've seen a
bunch of people from Driffield over the few nights I've played so
far and whilst I love Hooters for being the worlds best dive, it's nice to
see them in a club that's not quite so sticky.
As I type I've
just got in from doing a decent night at Viper Rooms under the
name Masters of Mayhem, where I play ultra deep minimalist tech cuts. Here
are some pix of the Harrogate drinking glitterati having it large to
Whigfeld Saturday nigh
t,
Dj Casper, and the mother fucking Macerena in the place! Fresh!
Righto,
I'd better be moving it along to get cracking with the final touches for
Sunday, I know lots of people are looking forward to it as much as I am, so
hopefully I'll see some of you there, and the rest of yer anovva time.
Cheers, Trev xxx
Friday 18th January 2008, on stereo, sod all, it's the middle of the
bleedin' night!
Hurrah, I've
finally gotten round to updating my site! As many of you will know I'm
moving venues for my Metal & Punk night Bottom of the Bottle, so most of
this years "homework" time for me has been sorting out things to do with
that. As you may have seen, the Bottomofthebottle.com website got an update
very early in the year, so I have been on the ball, just not on my balls, as
it were. Bottom of the Bottle's New years eve party really was a good one,
an awesome way to finish off 2007, and a nice way to leave XS too, I've
already thanked everyone who came on the night's website, but I'll do it
again here, cos they were brilliant and it was one of my favourite nights of
last year so ta! Loads of brilliant photo's from the night are on the
website, meanwhile Bottom of the Bottle in 2008 will still be held monthly,
but at the new venue of Viper Rooms on Parliament street. You may have
noticed that the night has had a name change back to it's original moniker,
there was no real reason for it other than no one ever really referredd
to it as Saving Sunday anyhow, so Bottom of the Bottle is back for 08. Read
the rest about that at the siteBottom
of the Bottle.
.
Another truly phenomenal night I had was Christmas eve at Revolution. It was heaving and everyone was well into it, I'm trying to book myself in there for next year already!
Back in the
world of "Dj Trev" stuff n' nonsense,
Thursday
nights at Viper have been going well (one drunk Scottish member of the
Harrogate drinking glitterati referring to them as the new Tuesdays) and
indeed Tuesdays at Rev have carried on being good too. Fridays there are
definitely improving again, hopefully by the time stuff generally gets busy
properly (around Easter) Friday nights in "the vodka jungle" will be a
massively strong night.
Each
week there are either fire eaters or snake c
harmers
or vodka limbo things going on. It's all a bit dangerous, and loads of fun,
there's some pictures to the right of them, the reason I'm dressed as
Indiana Jones (other than him being a creation involving Harrison Ford and
George Lucas) is that for Vodka Jungle I could choose wha
t
to dress as,
and it was this, or Tarzan. I don't want to be responsible for the female
crowd surge that would occur if I got my top off. Though which direction
they'd surge is open to debate. Also here is a photo with me and my token
ethnic friend Chuck, who doesn't like my car. Saturday's at Driffield were
fantastic over Christmas and that, and while it's slowed down somewhat in
January they are still good nights and one I look forward to, even though
the women there are a nightmare (see pictures to the left).
All in all I had a
fantastic Christmas, on the day itself going to my brothers
pub
in Easingwold and getting a cool photo of the Broadbank massive. I got some
brilliant pressies too, and then on the night got to see my amazing girlfriend and give her a
rat. Brilliant! On Boxing day we went to the inlaws and had another great
day, so it was total bargain I got to have two wicked Christmas days for the
price of one. Best of all was getting to spend some time with Sarah, who I'm
very much looking forward to doing loads of ace stuff with and to this year!
Here also are
some pictures of me with my professional peers, in no particular order, Dj
Pieman, Dj Frambo, Neil Jaques and Disco Dave, all good guys who I'm hoping
to be working with in '08.
Cheers for reading, and a belated thank you for a fantastic year in 2007, I'm really excited about 2008, it's started very well and the stuff that's in place now for my nights will hopefully lead to it being a really good year! If you came to any of my nights last year, thankyou for supporting them and for giving me a job that I fucking love! Cheers, Trev xxx
Thursday 6th December 2007- on stereo Digital Angel cd.
I've got loads on over Christmas if you fancy joining me for a beer, so here are the details:
Bottom
of the Bottle holds it's
Christmas party
on Sunday 16th
at Club XS.
Now then, there's lots of rumours floating around about that place so I'll
clear them up for you. The Club is only currently open for the nights it's
got booked in, UK Subs are playing with Jimmy Hotrod supporting, and yes,
both Bottom of the Bottle and Neon Fist have got nights to run there. The
Club shuts its doors properly after my
New Years Eve party,
which is, as you might guess, on
New Years Eve.
I
've
got a new venue sorted out for the new year so don't worry, Bottom of the
Bottle will be continuing, however for Neon Fist the Xmas bash is in
fact going to be the last one. I'll have a new night along the lines of Neon
Fist planned for the new year, but for pure
Neon Fist action
you need to get to the Xm
as
party on Sunday 23rd December
at XS. And like I say, Monday 31st December not only sees the return by
popular demand of Bottom of
the Bottle's New Years Evil,
but also the closing down party of XS. Anyone who came to the Cardinal Sins
closing down party will know that a mad party is pretty much a shoe in! As
it's new years eve, Bottom of the Bottle heads for an even more party
orientated set than usual, expect all the best Metal and Punk you'd normally
enjoy, plus anthems from years gone buy and a good few singalong rockers!
Two of Harrogate's best bands kick things off at 9pm, starting with Drowned
in Flames who promise their best tunes plus some specially performed covers
from the "hit parade" this year, and then Fuck With Fire give us a blazing
punk rock set including all their local heroes tunes with a bunch of mad
interpretations of the best tracks of the last few years! This will be a
great way to say farewell to the venue that under various guises has been a
great home for the night for the last 2 years, and will hopefully get us
looking forward to 2008 with mouthfulls of anticipation!
As for the new venue, lot's of people have already guessed where it is, and things there are going to be brilliant, I've already made sure we are gonna get some amazing drinks offers especially for the launch party which will be early in 2008; but for now I'm gonna keep a lid on it and let you wildly speculate. For now the dates to remember are Sunday 16th December, Sunday 23rd December and Monday 31st December, New Years Eve, for the final party at XS!
In COMPLETELY
UNCONNECTED NEWS I
start a new night at Viper Rooms this week, in fact, if you are a super
prompt
reader
of this site, tonight! I'm working for the legendary Ben the Rider and the
night is sort of a re-invention of a night we used to do at Revolution, and
is called "Masters of Mayhem". I'll be playing a thoroughly random mix of cheddary choonz that are best enjoyed with tongue in cheek including Take
That, 2 Unlimited, Spice Girls, Bros, Snap, Dolly Parton,
Partners in Kryme
(they did the ORIGINAL Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie soundtrack), Jazzy
Jeff and the Fresh Prince, and indeed there will be prizes on offer for the
best and worst request of the evening. This will get mixed up with some of
the big current tracks around at the moment so the overall effect is kind of
like shagging a dodgey looking bird that is really great in bed, whilst
thinking about Buffy the Vampire Slayer lezzing it off with the posh looking
one that went evil in Xmen 3. There's huge drinks offers to boot, and this
night hopes to put a bit of the party vibe back into Thursdays. I'm on at
Viper Rooms from 9pm so come have a go at winning something...
Friday nights at Revolution get a Fabby re-launch in time for Christmas, but are generally going pretty well anyway, and I'm enjoying Fridays again after they had a bit of a slump after summer. Dave the new manager at Rev is a sound guy and has some well cool ideas so exciting times beckon. I'd like to give mad props to Zahra who has left Rev to party it up in Leeds, I had loads of fun working with her and she would have made a great replacement girlfriend if Sarah ever happened to have an unfortunate accident after bad mouthing me one too many times. Really, good luck Zahra you're a good sort. Sticking with Rev, my Indie orientated Tuesday nights are still great, and with the students back in town shortly promise to get mental pretty soon.
Driffield has, whilst everyone else is still getting ready, been in lunatic festive mood for a while now, and the Saturday night party's at the world's best grotty dive Hooter's are as much a major part of my week as they have been for the past 36 years I've been working there.
All in all a really good festive season, so I hope you can come out and enjoy lots of partying with me!
Cheers for reading, here's to Christmas!

couple of weeks, including a birthday party for
myself which
was brilliant. For my actual birthday me and Sarah went to Berwick which was
closed, but still really good, stayed at a place called West Coates
,
and I would heartily recommend staying there, a really nice place with amazing food
and a brilliant swimming
pool, so check me out in mi swimsuit! On the way up we swung by Holy Island
which was really good, really tranquil and beautiful, and it was all in all
a really good cou

celebrate my birthday with
my mates, and I think I got over 30 people out, which was really cool. I'd
decided upon a theme for the night which was "crazy hats'" and that worked
really well, and since I always bang on about people needing to go out in
Harrogate more, we went round town and did all the pubs and bars we don't
usually go to. And it was brilliant, Hale's bar, The Slip Inn, Trotters, all
of them really god and I hope everyone had as good a night as I did, I
really enjoyed it, so thanks to everyone who came out, love you!

Congratulations
to Max, who won the best hat of the night competition. Well, technically,
Steve's Fat Pat Hat won, but Max has moaned on about it a bit, so we'll give
it to him on a whining girls vote. There's some ace photo's of this on Facebook, if you do something like search for me in Leeds, and I'm on as Dj
Trev. I don't really unde

facebook, but I'm on there whoring my shit anyway, so if you wanna vampire
bite me or something please do. Even though I'm not playing that kind of
nonsense. But cheers to the people who tag me in photo's, they are really
good and it saves me a fucking job dunnit?
Also neon fist
had it's first birthday party. Now I'll be brutally honest
(which is lets face it unusual in a promoter) and say that the night was
very quiet, but it was in no way disappointing, as it was still brilliant.
And it has to be said that every single one of the girls there were stunning
- which is a result in itself. Don't believe me? click on Truly's ass on the

and
look at the photo's, yep, quiet, but LOUD as fuck and really good fun, which
is what it's really about anyway; so what if
I lost a bit of money on it, it's still better than getting a proper job...
Finally for this time around,
last week a bunch of us pictured to the left w

me as I had to take the shot, went to Amsterdam, and got Yarron tugged off
by a pro, which were brill.
As usual my life remain a

thanks for all the birthday
goodness!

separate Halloween gig's to play, all in the same town bizarrely which meant
I had to make up 3 different costumes. For Halloween itself I dusted off my
evil clown outfit & there's loads of photo's from that night, which was at
Revolution, they are really cool, though it has to be said, most of them
feature me, so if you're scared of clowns, avert your eyes.
To see all of these
photo's click this link or either of the two pix here abouts! There are also photo's from the Indie night at Rev on Tuesday, I went
as a deceased 80's rocker type, that reminds
me a bit of someone out of American Werewolf in London, but more of Pat
Sharp. You'll notice from the pictures that no matter how bad I try to
look, I still get all the
girls.
Of course
the annual event that is my metal / punk night Bottom of the
bottle's
pre-Halloween party went off again, and I went as a dead version of my
emo
chum Ryan. It was a class
night and there are around 200 photo's from that on the Bottom of the Bottle
website, there's loads of fun ones there which should take you until home
time to look at. Which is always assuming you are reading this whilst you
are pretending to be at work. Many people read this site whilst they are
pretending to their girlfriend that they are masturbating. Good for you!
Saving Sunday, or Bottom of the Bottle if you prefer, has
got a night in November on the 25th, which should be cool as we've just
added Liverpool's Chief to the bill which now, including
them has local heroes F.U.B.A.R., Wetherby thrashers Book of job and Leeds'
Chakra all playing live too.
It's part of Chief's European tour and promises to be sweet, doors open at
9pm at XS with the first band on at 9.15pm prompt!!
It's
Neon Fist's
1st Birthday party on Sunday 11th November and we're also using that night
as Dj Rob Anthony's leaving do as he's going back to Australia, so hopefully
loads of people will come out and make that a night to remember. Doors open
10pm with birthday goodies going to the first 100 people in. It's £3 before
11pm or £4 after and that is at XS too, which if you don't know, is on
Station Parade.
Socially, for
Ashley's birthday we went to Bowling for Soup in Manchester and stayed at
the "legendary" Jervis hotel. Now, this hotel is in fact a land mark in
Manchester. one can only assume it's a landmark of Shite. Fair
enough, they were undergoing a re-fit, but this place was just terrible,
from the cracked plastic sink that looked like it dated from the plague era
- indeed may have been the initial cause of the plague - to the way the
staff looked us up and down as if they didn't want our types there.
Seriously, they should be grateful tramps want to sleep in the doorway, it's
nicer than the inside after all. Anyway, after check in we went to Yates'
for a really crappy pub meal. So far so bad. The pub attached to the Apollo
was however cool as always and got the night back on track, and we got
inside the gig in time to see Zebrahead, who add nothing to the term pop
punk but were ok and the drink was flowing. Unfortunately for me and Toby
and anyone who met us for the next hour and had to listen to my ranting
(sorry, to all involved there) Bloodhound Gang were up next. Fuck me, they
were terrible. It was like watching a ten year old who's just heard his
first "Knob" joke tell it over and over again for 35 minutes. They had a
HUGE slide show playing in time to their tunes, showing you pictures of fat
/ gay / easy targets in case you miss the hilarity of it all. Yes, their
hits are fun records and I've even enjoyed their albums but seriously, this
was appalling. Easy easy comedy that would underline where Bowling for Soup
really get things right, because BHG get it very wrong. That said lots of
people at the gig clearly enjoyed Bloodhound Gang. Then, lots of people at
the gig were 12. Fortunately Bowling For Soup didn't make us wait, and once
again were fantastic. I've only seen them once before and would not class
myself a fan of their music as to listen to at home they are just too
cheerful for a miserablist like myself, but live they are undeniable.
They've plenty of hits to keep you going if you're not a huge fan, and
most importantly they have fun with them .A really good gig. After that we
ended up in a gay bar, or rather me Sarah, Toby and Steph did, as for much
of the night we had no idea where Pieman and Ash were. I played pool for
some time there against some hot african chick who'd never played the game
before, but had big manoomas. We snuck back to Jervis Towers at 3am (having
planned all day to be back there by midnight at the latest) with a huge cold
kebab and ideas of attempting floppy sex. Next day I felt like pure dogshit
which was when Sarah told me the singles she'd been ordering me all night
were in fact doubles. Skillz. Had a magnificent Burger king that we had to
do 3 laps f the M60 to find, and went home. A good night out!
Next time I update this site I will be a year older, I must be something
like 23 now aren't I? I'm going out drinking round town on the 7th November,
if you wish to join me you are most welcome, but must wear a crazy hat.
Seriously. As always thanks for reading, it's been a hectic week or so but I
think totally worth it and I hope you've had at least a couple of good
nights out if you've come where ever I've been playing, I've really enjoyed
them and so thanks if you've been there. If you've not been there you know
where I'm at, get yur ass out, it's still fun you know!! Really, thanks to
everyone who's been out recently, there's been some right good uns and I
hope they continue as we start getting ready for Christmas... Trev xxx
friday
19th october 2007- on stereo nothing cos it's the middle of the bleedin
night innit!
I've got loads on workwise so I'll start with that before I ramble off into my tales of the unexpected...
Neon Fist
my
New Rave night is set to celebrate it's first birthday on Sunday 11th
November which should be a real good night, I've finally got round to
sorting out some of the old photo's, loads of them are on djtrev.co.uk in
the photo's bit, but the newest ones are on the neon fist myspace which is
www.myspace.com/ministryofmayhem
. I put them on there for no other reason but it's easy and saved me five
minutes I
could
invest
in abusing my genitals.
Again I'll remind you of the Saving Sunday / Bottom of the Bottle pre Halloween party that's coming up on Sunday 28th October, which'll be MONSTER. Geddit? Sorry.
Also round
Halloween I'm doing a special party at
Rev
with Found
& Uneven Blonde opening both
rooms with bands in the main and me in the free entry bar playing indie and
that which should be skill,
plus a cheesy party night there ON THE NIGHT Wednesday which will be a
laruff too.
Finally work
wise for now to let you know the legendary Archio Banquerta
is returning, he's at revolution on Friday 9th of November doing the 90's
Dance night "Killer", so if you fancy it check him out.
Now drinking blogs...
Sarah and myself
went on another away day or two this week, such is my celebrity jet set
lifestyle that I can just pick up and go on holiday just like that. It's not
as if I've got any real work to do is it? So we went to the luxurious centre
of style, sophistication, culture and indulgence that
is Blackpool. We had a great time, accompanied by Sarah's sister Kirsty and
my borderline brother
in
law St. Chad of the Bald patch. We binge drank it to fuck on the first day,
and then just me and her felt a bit rough and took it easy on the second.
After we got over our Harrogate snobbery and stopped pointing at all the
middle aged women in pink cowboy hats we realised that in many ways
Harrogate is like Blackpool, except that where we have lots of over priced
expensive shit polished wood and background music cool bars that are all
full of nobodies pretending to be somebo
dy
or, more often these days, just no body, they have under priced sticky shit
covered wood and fairground
dance music fun pubs that are full of 50 something divorcées wearing nun
outfits with false plastic tits on
the front. So admittedly we
were enjoying lots of it in an ironic way, but we did have a great time,
found a truly amazing curry shop called the Shalamar Gardens which was so
good on t
he
first night we decided to go back there on the second and Chad and I
destroyed the competition at Karaoke somewhere along the line. We took in
about 14 pubs on the first night, initially toying with the idea of going to a show,
but finding that drinking was more fun. One down point was I tried that
Guinness red and it's just black bitter. If I wanted to drink bitter I'd
order that wouldn't I? You'd think so, so avoid that if you ask me. However
in the same pub, an O'Neills the actual Guinness was spot on and the food
was really good to, and hellish cheap. The Merry England Bar was
like walking into a midlife crisis, but funny for all that, Brannigans was
shit but al the rest of the places were good fun, and we ended up in a
Casino where I came out FIVE POUND up. So that probably won't be there next
time you visit. The hotel we stayed in was the
same one as last time we
went about 18 months ago, and they remembered us too. A really nice place
that I'm not gonna name for fear of you going there and puking up and then
saying I recommended it...
As I said the
second day we just took it easy, milling around
and
tha
t,
and even that was brilliant, another great day out with the bird, who can be
pictured here going a bit cukoo. Actually I'm sure that is a weak ass intro
to this photo, but fuck it it's late. If anyone can come up with a better
one myspace message me it and you'll win a t-shirt. Or something. Obviously
I should mention me and Chad getting arrested, but I'm gonna stop writing
about this now as I'm making shit up just so I can include the pictures.
Last
week we went to Bradford for a massive fancy dress birthday party for a
whole bunch of hot chicks, and it was like being in some bizarre kind of fit
dream world for me. There are a few photo's tagged of this on Facebook, but
I still can't really work that one out. Needless to say we had a really
great time, but then after I was ill for two days, which is why I missed
work last Tuesday, sorry to my thousands of
fans who were upset. Your two text's got me through my sore throat and bum.
Here for all of you is a great photo of my girlfriend looking amazingly hot
with Joff's wife Becky also looking amazingly hot together combining to
create the sexual heat of the sun.
Joff, seen here looking twelve pictured on the right in the photo to your
left, is actually leaving Bradford, which is lame of him, but I've had fun
working with him again after all this time and he's a good sort, so good
luck to him I say.

Right I think that's the last week or two covered, so cheers for reading, I'm probably off on another holiday tomorrow, slacker. Trev xxx
Tuesday 2nd october 2007- on stereo m.i.a.'s current album "kala" and gorgol bordello off fabian the crazy dancer
Me and Sarah went to London last week and it was
smart, the main reason in theory we went was to see Gallows, who were
playing an awesome tour with Poison the Well & Lethal Bizzle in support, but
in fact we just used it as an exercise in excessive drinking, because me and
her used to be really good at that. We stayed at the same hotel "The
Gateway" as when we went to Clapham commons festival a) because it is a
really good and cheap hotel and b) because I fucked up and payed the
congestion charge when the gig is not inside the congestion area, and
thought screw it we'll get our monies worth and
stay the other side of town and walk across. This hair brained plan in fact
worked very well and we had a really good day traversing across London and
stopping at loads of different bars and pubs and that. I bought a sick pair
of Nike Air Jordans second hand from a shop right near the venue in Camden,
and we had a pint in the world famous Underworld too which is
a nice pub. Got to the Electric Ballroom for the gig and had fun arguing
over the price of a Poison the Well T-shirt with the guys on the merch stand
who, it transpired when they took the stage, were the lead singer and
guitarist of the band in question. That was
cool but to be honest I was really disappointed with Poison the Well's
set... On album they are a massivly artistic band being both brutal and
brutally progressive, all set to both srceamed and amazingly sung melodies,
and when I saw them before on a Dillinger Escape Plan tour they were if
anything better - however, this time, there was no singing that you could
hear, and in essence they were just like any other hardcore band you could
name. Which wouldn't be such a bad thing other than the fact this is POISON
THE WELL who really aren't average... other than tonight it seems. Lethal
Bizzle made up for it though and he was shit hot. MC's do annoy me with
their "only doing half of what they lay down on album themselves and having
a usually un named mate do at least as much of the work" type antics and
Bizzle did that, but I managed to turn off my cynic's bearded twat approach
for at least 15 minutes and just enjoyed it for what it was, and it was
banging, new single "Policemen on my back"
sounds huge and "Pow! forward moving" was fucking amazing. By now as a
result of the day me and Sarah could hardly walk, and our double vodka and
coke remedies, despite the £6 price tag, were not helping. Gallows were in
truth, very good, but by now I was so drunk that for some reason I lost my
temper with all their "we love London" stuff. It was a bit of a love in, but
then I hould of expected this, just didn't realise it was the last night of
the tour. The bile rose in my throat when they got all their family up on
stage, there was me wanting a hardcore punk show and getting a snapshop of
suburban family values... This shouldn't have been a problem but I was being
a twat and proceeded to harangue a poor lad in a Gallows T-shirt all the way
back to the hotel on the tube, even continuing 3 stations after the poor guy
got off. Frankly thats about the last I remember of the night, and woke up
at 4am on top of the bed in our room with no pants on
.
The journey home the next day was a shit fest, it taking 2 hours just to
leave London, but we were laughing most of the way as we'd had a great time
and it was brilliant to just have a drinking binge with my favourite person,
and be able to lose my mind with someone who knows how to deal with that (ie
let me get on with it) and generally have a good laugh. It also has to be
said Sarah was looking fucking fit, so all in all even though once
again I fell London is rubbish to go to gigs for, it's ace for a drinking
spree innit?
Workwise summer
is clearly over as a couple of days ago we had the return of the classic
Bottom of the Bottle / Saving Sunday Back to School party which was awesome
as I remembered them to be, and a regular horn fest. The photo's will be
online by the time you read this over at
www.bottomofthebottle.com and
look pretty good.
the next one will be a total monster as it's the Pre-Halloween special
on Sunday 28th October,
here's hoping it'll be as
much of a beast as they usually are!
Archio Banquerta is meant to be coming back soon, but I have no idea when it'll be now, but fans of the man stay tuned....
Here's
some photo's from Driffield over the last month, me meeting Ren
e
Zelwegger, and a whole load of fit blonde girls toboot, I still quite like
it over there for some reason.
Revolution on
Fridays is a bizzarre up and down affair, when indeed I'm there at all,
though last time I played this massive tall girl was there, so it was ok.
I also did a set at Leeds Electric press recently and pure
loved
that, hope to be back there soon. Tuesdays at Rev remain fantastic of
course, and Thursdays at Bradford are still a good laugh. However, this
Gorgol bordello album is annoying me now - it sounds like the "Meaning of
life" theme tune by Montey Python, so I'm gonna go and play with my new Sky
plus system which is very clever and slowly taking over my life. Cheers for
visiting with me and more importantly cheers for coming to my nights and
saving me the bother of getting a real job.

Tuesday 4th September 2007- on stereo Kate Nash's "made of bricks" and Lethal bizzle's "back to bizznizz"
Me and Sarah went to spain for most of last week. Actually, that's a lie. We went to London for Get loaded in the park, it was crap, but had a really good day. The Mitchell brothers and dirty pretty things and man like me were all really good, the streets were good but not great, and you couldn't hear any of the other bands we tried to see cos they were on this god awful second stage with (seriously) nightclub size speakers in a 10,000 capacity tent... crap, but it was a really fun day and I got well loaded, aided by the fact I'd had no sleep the night before, driving straight down from Driffield on Saturday night, and having the first pint of many by 10.50am in a bar at the edge of Clapham Common. After the festival we went for a curry nearby which was great, even though I nearly slept in it. Next morning we headed down to Portsmouth, had an awesome day sat by the newly done up "Hard" (the original dock front). Went and saw HMS Victory which I've wanted to do for a very long time, and if you are into that kind of thing I'd urge you to go, brilliant and quite moving. That evening got on the ferry for the next 3 1/2 days, doing a round trip to Bilbao, only stopping in the Basque port for 4 hours, which was to be fair plenty, what with the Europeans not bothering to get up til lunch - which, granted is the story of my life, but then I'm not in bed til 6am am I? It was a comedy cruise thing and saw some good comedians, and also came second (again) in the on board quiz, which was ok. I won some money on roulette, sweet, and then got stupidly fucking drunk on Murphys and was a sick as shit as we returned to Portsmouth. To be honest, and give a little too much information, being sick was the least of it, Murphy's just turns my arse to fizzy gravy. No good. After puking, and the rest, what I thought was gonna be a nightmare long drive home turned out ok, and then after 4 days away that seemed like weeks of fun, slept in my own bed, and avoided soiling it, sweet.
It was really good to get back to work on Saturday, after a top night out on Friday with one of my big bosses the mighty Phil Barker, at his amazing restaurant The Bull in Moulton and a truly brilliant meal. Like I say though, even after all those great things it was great to be back at work on the Saturday in Driffield, and I had a kick ass night and frankly, was brilliant.
Then last
night's Saving Sunday was even more awesome, just a top night, it's like
just the best night I do right now, which is not to say anything less about
my other nights, you know, I've got a lush job and
I'm
well lucky, but fuck me last night was something else! The next one is the
back to school party, which will be a horn fest of the uniform and playful
discipline kind. By the way, the girl on the poster is called "Teen Tiffany"
and I'd whole heartedly urge you to spend some time on one of her sites.
Don't mention the fact that I'm using her picture like, even if it is a free
sample I got of a copywrite free page. I just never like to meet my
heroes... The photo's from last night are already online (I know, I'm almost
a professional) at
www.bottomofthebottle.com .
My
very good Italian friend Archio
Banquerta had quite a
lot of fun at the first Killer, even if it took a while to get going, so is
doing the first Friday of every month at Rev, playing solid 90's dance, if
you like that kind of thing.
Looking forward to tonight at Rev's, the indie night Found is ace, then i'm back at Bradford on Thursday!
A really good
couple of weeks then, oh, and Neon fist, the rave night, is coming up
ON
A FRIDAY!!! People who remember it from Friday's know that it's loads better
on Fridays, and it's been fucking good on Sundays, so I'm well looking
forward to Friday 14th September, and it's be top buzz to see you there!
Cheers for Reading as always, and cheeers to everyone who comes out to my nights, you are well god and everyone else sucks (apart from the Liverpool squad who are top of the table right now, and realy really DON'T suck). Trev xxx
Friday 17th August 2007- on stereo "The White Room" by KLF. Classic. then Napalm death's "smear campagne" which is a bit mellow.
Archio
Banquerta
my good friend from Italy is playing Revolution on Friday 24th
August and then the first Friday of every month there after until they can't
afford him anymore. The night is called Killer and it's a 90's dance
spectacular, which should be worth checking out for a bit of old school fun.
Neon fist is going great, it's on this Sunday (19th Aug) and then I guess we'll be getting ready for the birthday party before long. The photo's from 5th August are up Here so have a lookie if you like.
Saving
Sunday is still fucking mental, pretty much my favourite night of the month
every damn month, the next one being Sunday 2nd September, then after that
by popular request it's the return of the back to school party, where we all
perv. That's on Sunday 30th September, then it's the pre-hallowe'e'n party
on October 28th. It's still held at XS which is proving to be a great venue
for it, and all the photo's for previous ones are online at my other, even
crapper website,
www.bottomofthebottle.com.
The
busiest night of the week is the newly re-names "Found"
on Tuesdays at Revolution, it's and indie/grime/rock/electro/alt. fest and
is making me think that Tuesdays are the new Fridays to a certain degree,
though Fridays are still good, Tuesdays are mental. Check out the girls!!
Amusingly, someone tried to steal my headphones th
e
other week. Why is this amusing? look at the state of them. They are more
past it than me! No really, THEY ARE FUCKED... if any of my managers feel
they need to give me a pay rise (I am universally due one from all my
venues) they are welcome, or simply they could take the Zahra path and
promise to buy me a new pair, then change their mind when they realise that
they don't only cost £3.99. Nice to know I'm valued at a little under a
fiver...
The Thursdays I run in Bradford still frankly confuse me, but are quite a good laugh and it's always good to catch up with mi old mate Joff, when he's not on holiday (he has 2 more holidays a year than I do, which is 67).
Once again me and Sarah have been taking in the arts, seeing Shakespeare's Henry V in Leeds this week, though we are going to what the kids call a "gig" in a week or two, Get Loaded in the park has The Streets, Dizzy Rascal and MIA amongst others, we'll be stood near the back complaining that it's too loud and you can't understand the words. Actually after a fairly lean summer of events we're also off to see Gallows, Enter Shikari and for my birthday probably Hadouken! and Dillinger Escape Plan, so we're not quite retired from our youth yet. Although I do get senior citizen discount on gig tickets anyway...
Cheers for visiting with me, Trev xxx
Tuesday 3rd
July '07 -
on stereo Dan the boy's
latest mix tape.
Saving Sunday
was sick the other night, and well up for the next couple
of weeks that should be mental as the night's start flying in over
summer.... First on 8th July I've got Napalm Death gig, I've got some
tickets left if you want them they are a tenner a pop so have a word and
come to what is definitely the areas biggest heaviest gig I can remember.
Then a week
later
on the 15th July it's Neon Fist the rave night, the last one was bedlam -
check the photo's section which is all up to speed innit? And then on
Sunday 22nd July it's the Big Bottom of the Bottle / Saving Sunday 5th
birthday party.
On a weekly
thing Friday's at Rev in the main room are sex if you're up for a bit of pop
and party, the re-opening night
for
the smoking ban was ace, and I made a new best chum in the form of Dj Fudge
who you can see me pictured with here. I was well pissed when I met him but
he seemed not to mind even when I started to ramble about obscenely hardcore
pornography, as is my wont. Of the two photo's taken of us one, abo
ve,
is quite good but makes it look like I've got a real big heed while for some
reason the other makes it seem he
has a grotesquely large head and that I have a tiny head, which is certainly
not the case as anyone who's ever met me will testify.
Thursdays in Bradford at Varsity are well good too and a pound a drink is added incentive, but I've not photo's yet so you'll just have to trust me. 18 missing women can't be wrong.
Tuesday's Indie night at Rev re-launches tonight, indeed I'd best go and see to that, it's now called found, in a clever slightly naughty pun on another night in town on Tuesdays, so I'll let you know how it goes. Even better, come see for yourself.
The ever present Hooters gig on Saturdays
is still good fun, even if this week it was stupidly fucking hot and moist,
but that's often just how
it
is with me. Check out Suzie who returned on Sat after 2 years away from the
club having a baby, and she got herself one of the totally cool Dj Trev
tat's, this one reads DJ TREV Spank me I'm bad. Good times. Genuine rub on
tattoos will be here by 2009.
Now it's all smoke free I'm well looking forward to Summer once all this fucking rain gives it a rest, just got to try sort out some Leeds fest tickets now innit?

Thursday 28th June '07 - on real player BBC Five live wimbledon 07.
Whole bunch of stuff to breeze through so I'll crack on... Went to watch Shakespeare's Much ado about nothing in the walled gardens of Ripley Castle yesterday with Sarah, and it was awesome, never really been into Willy before but it was a great show and we had a top champagne picnic and lots of fun, particularly when we snuck into a camping exhibition on the way home to finish or picnic and almost got caught having a sausage roll...
before that:
Download fest was excellent, Inflames were brutal, Gallows became my new favourite band, Evanescence amazed me by being the band of the weekend, Marilyn Manson disappointed me with his "dramatic show to put the Mechanical animals shows to shame" consisting of changing his hat. In fairness, he changed his hat twice, which was mind blowing... better were Billy Talent, Linkin Park and Mastodon, who made sense once I sat down proving they truly are a prog band, KSE were good but lacking that funny man, and Cancer Bats were a band I want to like, but sadly have no tunes that I could see. Reuben were ace on the main stage, and by all accounts Enter Shikari were brilliant, but I decided to worjk the Friday because a) I am dedicated to my job, and b) I couldn't be arse to go to an entire day just to see one band, and it's a decision I once again stand by. I do hope next year they just do two days, as there really aren't enough bands in the heavy spotlight to justify 3 days for me, but then maybe i'm just a miserable cunt... Had a great time for the two days I went and once again the Harrogate campsite was sick as fuck.
A Week later I went to the Sunday of O2 Wireless fest in Leeds, which wqas essentially the Indie Dance day. Plan B Was great, gritty and grindie tastic, following Soho Dolls who only have one song that they did five or six times before I got bored and wandered off. CSS were awesome with lead singer Sexx Foxx or whatever being truly hot in a mental catsuit. Before them New young Pony Club were grand and I had lots of fun with Auntie Katy who was using the day as a 2nd leaving do before going to her new place near Wakefield. We'd narrowly missed Datarock who's new album is skill. Had a great day glow mosh pit to Klaxons who were pandemonium in a small tent, and finally Daft Punk blew the place apart. After a day of watching quite a few bands pretend to play tracks they'd obviously knocked up on a computer it was refreshing to watch Daft Punk to just be a digital act, and it was the coolest thing I've seen in a while. I even renewed a very old acquaintance with poppers. Mad.
The following day the aforementioned Katie ruined my day off with a 17 hour nightmare drive to Wakefield, but then she did buy us all dinner which was very nice at her new pub which is also well decent.
Workwise
the most recent

July, but I don't k
now
who's playing yet...
Got Saving Sunday this Sunday, and not far away the Napalm Death gig too, which I am selling tickets for, they are just a tenner so come see me if you want one. Also in the not too distant future it's the Bottom of the Bottle 5th birthday party on Sunday 22nd July with Scottish Craig Dj'ing early doors and a live party set from the one and only Fuck With Fire, so get that cunt in your diary as it should be bedlam!
To update from my brief post on Tuesday I was meant to go to Amsterdam on Monday but 12 miles away from the ferry port with a comfortable 2 1/2 hours to get there unfortunately Hull broke, the motorway flooded, and me and my brother (who I was yet again endeavouring to take on his birthday treat) got to sit unmoving on the motorway for 6 hours. It was as much fun as you can imagine but on the plus side we did get two text messages read out on BBC Radio Humberside inbetween the reports of the armageddon type flooding that area was under. It was fucking insane really and whilst we were pissed off to be missing our holiday, it could have been a lot worse and at least we came out of the situation unscathed and the worst of it being me getting the shakes and sweats from only having eaten sweets and drunk red bull all day. I mean, that's the kind of felling I go out of my way to get when I'm raving....

Archio Banquerta had another great night at Revolution last Sunday, in fact it was loads better than the first time he played there and hopefully he will return. If you'd like to see photo's of that you'll have to check his myspace, which is www.myspace.com/archio

I
played main room on Friday at Rev's and it looked like it was gonna be a
shitefest, as it was really quiet early on; but I'd been prepped for this by
the mighy Zaharaara and just got on with it, and in the end it was a wicked
night. I really enjoyed myself, it was well busy, and as a double bonus I
got the spot that I've been after for nigh on two years, which is main room
duties at Rev every Friday. This is wicked sick and I'm well happy about it,
it's def gonna take a lot of work to get it kicking regularly, but I'm
actually really looking forward to getting my teeth into it and working
hard, because as yo
u
know, I've been slacking off a lot recently, working a mere 6 nights a week
and booking Italian big name DJ's and producers to play, plus making
beautifully frightening music with mister Rob Anthony (more on this another
time). So yeah, tip top times on Friday and the girls in
fancy
dress were radical.
Saturday
at Driffield was ok, a bit slow, but on the plus side I noticed
a
new thing that the kids are doing, everyone should get on
e
of these! Many thanks to the model involved, I didn't catch her name but hey
she was buzzing. I'm
really looking forward to neon fist tonight also, I will hopefully play the
tune me and Rob have made, its wicked mental!

Thursday 19th April '07 - on stereo Shit Disco's new album, Roll Deeps Rules & Regulations.
Neon
fist pure works on a Sunday then, the first one on the religion enforced
"day of rest" was buzzin! Check out the photo's from it
'ere.
Before that as
some of you will be aware I brought over my Italian Holmes the superstar Dj
Archio Banquerta. There are some
photo's of the night here, and it was top
swelling, so he has been
booked to return to Rev Harrogate on Sunday 6th May for another
"banq" holiday. It's lots of fun working with and booking international
DJ's, and Archio was such a nice guy I can't wait to see him again. He asked
me to pass on his regards to all the "Maximum sexy people of the Harrogate
spa town". Nice guy.
Been working
well hard recently (was it ever any different) but it's cool because it's
paying dividends, my nights are all going well:
Saving Sunday is
back for some more metal
and
punk shenanigans on Sunday 29th April and - get the fuck in - I'm DJ'ing a
Saving Sunday session with NAPALM DEATH at that Daddy Cool's in
Knaresborough in the summer, which I'm well chuffed about.
